What is Altars Everywhere?

A community of worship leaders (musicians, singers, and dancers) from around the world who make the kingship of Jesus Christ the focal point of our worship and commit to continue growth in our theologies, perspectives, corporate practices, and personal lifestyles of worship.

Who Should Apply?

-Those who have a desire to grow in the knowledge of Jesus

-Worship creatives (musicians, singers, or dancers) with at least 2 years of experience serving and leading in a congregational setting.

-Those teachable and willing to receive training and accountability from veteran worship leaders, theologians, and fellow community members.

-Those willing to commit time for AE initiatives, meetings, and activities.

What Will AE Do?

We will become better "altar builders" in our congregations, families, and regions through participating in:

-Classes

-Prayer initiatives

-Bible studies

-Book discussions

-Songwriting sessions

-Other enrichment and community-building activities

When Is It?

Altars Everywhere is an ongoing community for worship leaders, but induction into the community requires participation in a 6-month cohort.

The next induction cohort will run from January-June 2025. Those who successfully complete cohort requirements will become full members of Altars Everywhere.

What’s The Cost?

-The only cost to apply for Altars Everywhere is your time (approximately 20-30 minutes to complete the application).

-Those accepted into the Spring 2025 induction cohort (January-June) will be asked to submit a $50 admission fee, though fee waivers for financial hardship will be available for individuals upon request. The admission fee is the only required financial investment for the cohort.

-The primary cost of participation with the Altars Everywhere community is commitment. Consistent engagement and presence is a must.

-Notice of admission decisions will be provided by Friday, January 17, 2025.
